How it is taken
¼–½ tsp in the morning before meals. Not suitable for children under 16. Anupāna: Vata — warm water/milk or ½ tsp ghee; Pitta — lukewarm water, coriander water, buttermilk, ghee or warm milk; Kapha — lukewarm water or warm almond milk.

- ✕May aggravate Pitta in excess. Avoid in hyperthyroidism, with sedatives or thyroid medication, and in pregnancy.

Patch-test or trial a small dose first; discontinue if any reaction occurs.
When to see a doctor
Persistent or severe symptoms, pregnancy, children under 12, anyone on prescription medication, and any new or worsening condition should be reviewed by a qualified clinician (GP or vaidya) before starting Ashvagandhadee Choorna. May aggravate Pitta in excess. Avoid in hyperthyroidism, with sedatives or thyroid medication, and in pregnancy.
