Traditional uses

  • ·Insomnia, anxiety, mental tension
  • ·Hair fall and premature greying
  • ·Shirodhara for stress and Pitta
  • ·Daily Shiroabhyanga (head massage) in summer

How it is taken

External: 5–15 ml warmed and massaged into the scalp at night or 1 hour before a warm shower.

Avoid in

  • Open scalp wounds, active dandruff infection
  • Severe Kapha congestion of the head (use Anu Taila instead)

Allergies

Sesame or coconut oil base.

Classical alternatives

Bhringraj Taila for hair-focused use; Ksheerabala for combined head + body application.
