Calming Night Tea

Aśvagandhā Kshira

Vata

A grounding evening milk for anxious, scattered Vata and broken sleep. Taken 30–60 minutes before bed.

Pacifies Vata · grounding for anxiety and insomnia

Ingredients

  • ·1 cup warm oat milk
  • ·½ tsp ashwagandha root powder
  • ·Optional: 1 pinch nutmeg

Method

  1. 01Warm the oat milk in a small pan.
  2. 02Whisk in ashwagandha and nutmeg. Simmer gently 3 minutes.
  3. 03Pour into a cup, sip warm before bed.

Per cup (≈): 110 kcal · 3 g protein · 17 g carbs · 3 g fat. Withanolides plus calming oat beta-glucans.

Practitioner note

Avoid in hyperthyroidism, pregnancy, with sedatives or thyroid medication.
