Ingredients

  • ·2 tsp whole cumin seeds
  • ·2 tsp whole coriander seeds
  • ·2 tsp whole fennel seeds
  • ·12 empty paper tea filters (sold by any tea shop) or 12 small zip-bags
  • ·Just-boiled water from a kettle at destination

Method

  1. 01Lightly crush the seeds in a mortar at home to release their oils.
  2. 02Mix evenly and spoon 1/2 tsp of the blend into each empty tea filter or zip-bag; seal.
  3. 03On the road: drop one sachet into a mug, pour over just-boiled water, cover, steep 5 minutes.
  4. 04Sip warm between meals — make 2–3 mugs through the day.

Nutrition notes

Per mug (≈): <5 kcal · trace macros. Carminative volatile oils — cuminaldehyde, linalool, anethole — kindle agni without disturbing any dosha.

Serving notes

Carry one small zip-pouch of sachets in your hand luggage. Both TSA and EU airport security routinely allow loose seeds and tea filters.

Practitioner note

Make 12 sachets at the start of each month; they stay fresh in a small zip-pouch for 4–6 weeks.
